Latecomers
We aim to start all events and activities at the stated time and we cannot delay the start due to latecomers.

Whilst we accept that there maybe reasons for your late arrival at the venue that are beyond your control we have to be
aware that admitting you after the event has started may disrupt the audience and performers.

Depending on the event you may be asked to wait until a suitable break in the production so as to minimse disruption.
If there is a suitable point for you to enter the auditorium the Front of House team will let you in, but you will directed to the nearest available empty seats so as to not disrupt the performance/event further. You will be able to take the seats you have paid for at the interval.

If the production does not allow for latecomers to be allowed entry – we have to follow that instruction as it will
be part of the contract/agreement we have with the performer/company.

In this instance no refunds will be given.
However if there are multiple shows for the same production/event we may be able to exchange your ticket if there are spaces.

Wheelchair and Accesible seating

The venue operates with a number of flexible seating arrangements.
This ranges from full theatre style seating to cabaret style seating with tables, to unallocated seating/standing arrangements.

If you are a Wheelchair user, or have accesibility requirements please contact the Hall Manager on 01299 823339 during
box office hours (as detailed above) and we will help you find the seats most suitable for your needs.

If you are booking online for an event with full theatre style seating the most accesible seats for wheelchairs are on Row L, directly in front of the rake, and once the number of tickets are selected you will be taken to a screen to choose you seats, and these will be marked with a wheelchair symbol.

We have 8 wheelchair spaces available, along with 8 seats for companions.

We cannot put wheelchairs at the ends of rows/aisles.

If you have a powered wheelchair please contact the Hall Manager who will ensure that you have enough space for your chair.

Seats on the Rake seating are not suitable for wheelchair users, and as they involve steps which might be difficult for customers with some mobility concerns.

For Cabaret style seating with tables, and unallocated seating/standing arrangements please contact the Hall Manager to discuss your needs and we will try to ensure that you can be accomodated comfortably.

Pushchairs, Prams, and Buggies

The venue operates with a number of flexible seating arrangements.
This ranges from full theatre style seating to cabaret style seating with tables, to unallocated seating/standing arrangements.

For Full Theatre Seating there is no space for Pushchairs, Prams, and Buggies inside the auditorium/main hall.
This is due to the need to keep aisles and gangways clear for audience members to get in and out of the auditorium/main hall during the event.

For Cabaret style seating with tables, and unallocated seating/standing arrangements please contact the Hall Manager to discuss your needs and we will try to ensure that you can be accomodated comfortably.

Pushchairs, Prams, and Buggies should be folded up, where possible, and can be left in the foyer until the end of the event.
Any items are left in the foyer  at the owners risk.

FREE Drinking Water

In addition to our fully stocked bar, if you require a glass/cup of water please ask at the bar.
Water will be from the tap, and not bottled water.
Alternatively ask one of our members of staff for assistance.
All the tap water on site is drinkable.

Healthy Snack and Drinks
The Bar serves a range of snacks that you would normally expect such as crisps, nuts, etc, and we also have confectionary available.
After feedback from Families we have replaced Fruits Shoots with Joosed Junior from Bensons “The Juicers”.
These drinks have lower levels of saccarine and use only natural fruit juices mixed with spring water.

Healthy snacks are being introduced, alongside small packets of biscuits and fruit based snacks.

Breastfeeding.

The Civic, Stourport welcomes parents who are Breastfeeding.
We have an area in the foyer of the venue with comfortable seating and tables.
There are also some toys in this area to keep any other little ones occupied whilst you feed.

There is also some seating in the bar area which may also be suitable.

If you wish to feed in a private or quieter area please speak to one of our staff who will gladly assist you.

Baby Changing Facilities

There is a wall mounted baby changing table in the accesible toilet, along the main corridor from the foyer to the bar.
This is a unisex toilet so anyone can use it.

Child Suitable Seating

We currently do not have dedicated seating for children.
However if you wish to bring you own booster seats with you so that your children can see better, please feel free.

Please be aware that for events with Full Theatre Style Seating all the seats tip up when empty or when enough weight is not
kept on them. The Civic bears no liability for anyone using booster seats, and it is the parent/carers reposisbility to ensure they feel
that their child will be safe on the seat and booster.
