Accessing the site
There are three disabled parking spaces in the car park at the front of the venue.
They are the furthest spaces from our front doors, approx 50 metres.
This car park is not owned by The Civic, Stourport. It is owned by Worcestershire County Council and was designed to improve access to the Library and Office building.
We cannot reserve spaces.
You can park anywhere else, but there are only three spaces marked as disabled.
On the public car parks at the rear of The Civic, there are four more disabled marked spaces. On the small public car park opposite there are two marked spaces, but spaces on this car park are generally wider.
However, using either of these car parks will result in having to travel uphill to get to the venue, and crossing the car park at the front of the venue.
There is a drop kerb in the car park at the front of the venue to acess teh ramp to the front door.
There is no access from the road in front of the venue, as there are steps with no ramp.
Entering the Venue
The Civic has ramped entrances at three of its doors, two of which are at the main doors to the venue, and is step free throughout the public areas.
Doors throughout the public areas are double doors.
None of these doors are powered at this time.

There are wheelchair accessible toilets available.
Wheelchair and Accesible seating
The venue operates with a number of flexible seating arrangements.
This ranges from full theatre style seating to cabaret style seating with tables, to unallocated seating/standing arrangements.
If you are a Wheelchair user, or have accesibility requirements please contact the Hall Manager on 01299 823339 during
box office hours (as detailed above) and we will help you find the seats most suitable for your needs.
If you are booking online for an event with full theatre style seating the most accesible seats for wheelchairs are on Row L, directly in front of the rake, and once the number of tickets are selected you will be taken to a screen to choose you seats, and these will be marked with a wheelchair symbol.
We have 8 wheelchair spaces available, along with 8 seats for companions.
We cannot put wheelchairs at the ends of rows/aisles.
If you have a powered wheelchair please contact the Hall Manager who will ensure that you have enough space for your chair.
Seats on the Rake seating are not suitable for wheelchair users, and as they involve steps which might be difficult for customers with some mobility concerns.
For Cabaret style seating with tables, and unallocated seating/standing arrangements please contact the Hall Manager to discuss your needs and we will try to ensure that you can be accomodated comfortably.
D/deaf facilities
There is a hearing loop system installed in the main hall.
We currently do not have a hearing loop in the foyer/box office area.
If the fire alarm sounds, it is accompanied by flashing lights in the sensors.
The civic stourport
