While we’re not a full-time theatre, we host a variety of theatrical events and are proud to be part of our community’s fabric, so this comment in the The Stage magazine does resonate with us at The Civic.  For many locals, their first taste of theatre happens here, especially at the Monday Night Group pantomime – memories that last a lifetime!

You might remember our past family shows like “Stickman” and “The Hungry Caterpillar,” and in April, “Claytime” by indefinitearticles joins us.
But our offerings go beyond.

Consider the upcoming productions from companies like FAIR SHARE Theatre Co, Mild Peril Theatre, Don’t Go Into The Cellar! Theatre Company, and Our Star Theatre Company.

Want to be part of the show? Join Encore Youth, our music and drama sections, Limelight’s annual musical, or local groups like Carpet Trades Musical Theatre Company (bringing “Guillotine” in May).

We may not be a traditional theatre like our friends at The Rose, but we do theatre, and we’ll be here whenever you’re ready to return.
