The civic stourport

Rob is a a local artist who has been painting for 50 years and his work is on show this September in the foyer and the corridor at the Civic.

Rob started painting at school doing his Art O and A levels but kept his hand in while working in social housing for the Council, and then Wyre Forest Community Housing where he was Head of Housing.

After his retirement in 2009 he focused more on this hobby and is a member of the local art group at the Lickhill Community Centre in Stourport.
Rob is also Chairman of Wyre Forest Citizens Advice.

He thinks his work is quite varied in style and the current exhibition includes some more abstract paintings as well as more traditional landscapes, all of which are oil on board.
