Unbelievably, Earl Okin turns 80 in 2027.

What has he done in his career so far?

He was signed to the same company as the Beatles in the 1960s, recording at Abbey

Road, which his songs were covered by Cilla Black, Helen Shapiro, Georgie Fame etc.

After touring Folk Clubs in the 1970s, he opened for acts such as Ralph McTell, Fairport Convention, Van Morrison and finally Paul McCartney and Wings.

In the 1980s, he guested on top talk shows. Michael Parkinson in the UK, Gay Byrne in Ireland, Jo Soares in Brazil etc. He has given concerts literally around the world.

Since then, Earl has become one of the UK’s finest Jazz and Bossa Nova singers, one of its most distinguished songwriters, while simultaneously being in demand as one of the country’s top musical comedians.

He performed 500 times at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

He has entertained royalty, not only in the UK but also in Sweden.

He has sung alongside Jazz giants such as Benny Carter, Stephane Grappelly, Cleo Laine etc.,

performed alongside comedians from Billy Connolly to French and Saunders and Stewart Lee.

At 80, his voice and talent is as was. There is nobody like him. He really is unique.
